Hello and welcome!
My goal with The Wedding Opera is to bring you a beautiful, curated space where wedding planning meets the sensible, stylish, and diverse bride & groom.
I’m a big believer in celebrating life’s milestones, living your life with passion and purpose, and creating meaningful experiences. Whether it’s a wedding or an intimate conversation with a friend.
After navigating an unconventional road, which included studying journalism, playing in a pop-punk band, coaching gymnastics in Australia, many years at a financial firm on Bay Street, working as a professional wedding photographer. I thank you for giving me the chance to share my love of business, design, and the wedding industry. Creating a meaningful experience which brings people together to celebrate life and love is an amazing job!
When I started The Wedding Opera, I saw a gap in the wedding market. A gap for a good quality platform that could support wedding vendors by letting them shine while connecting them with amazing brides and grooms!
I’m also passionate about supporting the industry. Supporting wedding pros in building business.
I’m so grateful that I took that leap of faith and followed through with what was just an idea – for another wedding blog – and now is The Wedding Opera and The Business of Weddings.
This journey has been a labour of love, relentless hours of work, countless bridal shows, events, meetings, collaborations, some disappointments, and even some tears. I wouldn’t have it any other way!
I sincerely hope you find value and inspiration from the website and will share what you have discovered with your friends.
True success cannot be achieved alone. So come along, I’d love to have you!
If you have a wedding planning success story, have connected with some great vendors, or want to let us know what you love about the website or what we can improve, you can email me here!
And remember – the best way to predict the future is to create it!
Happy wedding planning and business building – and remember the fun is in the journey!
With love and grace,
