If You Could Tie the Knot Anywhere – Iconic Ontario Wedding Venues

Wouldn’t you just love to be able to pick and choose any venue for your wedding? If money was no object and you had no budget constraints in which to operate, you would go all out and celebrate the big day in style.

While such high-end venues might be out of your budget, that doesn’t mean that you cannot at least take inspiration from such iconic settings. To help, we have listed some of the incredibly gorgeous wedding venues in the area.

Niagara Falls

On the Ontario border is, of course, the world-famous Niagara Falls that tourists flock to from the world over to catch a glimpse at one of the wonders of the world (even though, officially, it isn’t). Could you imagine how wonderful your wedding photos would look with beautiful Niagara Falls forming the backdrop?
There are many small venues in the area where couples can get married and, while the venues themselves may not be as grand as the waterfalls, they certainly make for a fantastic day.

Graydon Hall Manor

For an all-singing, all-dancing wedding, there is surely no better place than the lavish Graydon Hall Manor north of Toronto. Established in 1936, the manor has played host to all kinds of luxury events such as weddings, corporate dinners and business meetings.
With such beautiful décor and a reputation for surpassing their guests’ expectation, it leaves little wonder as to why Graydon Hall Manor is the dream setting for many a couple. With facilities to house up to 250 guests, you wouldn’t have to worry about cutting down your list of invites, either.

Casa Loma

Some couples dream of a church wedding, whereas some dream about tying the knot in a castle. In Toronto, Casa Loma provides a beautiful medieval setting that can be transformed as per the guests’ request. With stunning scenery, unique sculpture and idealistic location, Casa Loma make for a fantastic wedding venue that will certainly provide a spectacular backdrop for pictures.
The Gothic Revival house was constructed between 1911 and 1914 and has recently undergone vital historic repair works to keep its majesty alive. You can visit this website to learn more about historic repair and the work that it entails.

Hacienda Sarria

If a wedding venue that provides luxury hidden away in a secluded setting is your idea of perfection, you really wouldn’t go far wrong at Hacienda Sarria. The venue really does go all out, offering a wedding planning service and exclusive use of the lounge, courtyard, ballroom, coffee house, bridal suite, groom’s room and gardens.

On the day itself, the venue will provide your very own event staff, meaning that you don’t have to worry about making sure that all of your planning and preparation doesn’t go out of the window. With all of your guests wined and dined, and the couple treated to the ultimate pamper session; this really would make a fantastic wedding.

Queen’s Landing

In no way associated to King’s Landing in Game of Thrones, Queen’s Landing is a spectacular vintage-styled hotel based next to Niagara River, north of the famous waterfalls, the hotel was built in 1990 but don’t let that fool you. As the hotel’s website puts it, “Queen’s Landing expertly blends the best of Old World and New World”.

With 140 guestrooms onsite, there is ample accommodation available at this picturesque venue, ensuring that all of your guests can celebrate the happy occasion long into the night.
In Ontario, we are fortuitous to benefit from stunning locations that make for the ideal wedding picture. Wherever your big day is, we are sure that it would be stunning.
