When you want your wedding to be memorable, one of the biggest ways to make an impact is your choice of venue. Blogger Montana Bach married the love of her life Christopher in Salt Lake City and the first ever wedding hosted at Trolley Square Marketplace! This unique, rustic and elegant wedding was photographed by our favourite Utah photographer, Pepper Nix.
When Montana started to plan her wedding, she knew she wanted a unique and romantic feel at a venue that has not been used before. The couple rented out an old building space and turned it into their ideal venue. After the months of planning, the wedding was perfect, just as she always dreamed!
The décor consisted of long wood farm tables, hundreds of gold votives, beautiful flowers and bistro lighting. To keep the design simple and romantic the bride opted for a color palette of gold, ivory, and light pink. The couple’s favourite DIY decor was the “C” & “M” that hung in the old door frames. It took time to figure out how to place the marquee letters. Stretched burlap and heart shaped garland finished the amazing look!
We love the tradition that the bride and groom followed to have them kiss during the reception. If the guests clinked their glasses, the couple stood on their chairs and kissed. If the guests stomped their feet, under the table is where they shared a kiss! A tradition from the bride’s father from Denmark that unexpectedly gave the couple quite the workout on their wedding day!
Congratulations Montana & Christopher!
