Mona Lisa Bridal Gallery in Vaughan is a premier bridal salon with handpicked designers who are chosen based on their artistic vision and exceptionally beautiful designs. We had the pleasure of speaking with Frances, the salon owner about the upcoming Julie Vino Trunk Show from July 7th-10th and the reasons why a bride should purchase during a truck show!
Julie Vino wedding gowns incorporate beautiful fabrics with Julie Vino’s creative vision to create bridal gowns that have a classic style with a modern touch.
Julie Vino on her inspiration: ” The fabrics and different accessories provide me with infinite inspiration. Therefore every season I scout the market and the different suppliers and import exclusive array of unique fabrics from all over the world; ethnic handmade brocade from India, unique lace from France and fabrics rich in details and embroidery from Italy. In a special department in my studio, a specialist in embroidery is adding texture and additional embroidery to each fabric to make it even more exquisite. “

What are the reasons to purchase during a trunk show?
1. A trunk show involves a specific designer bringing all gowns from their most recent collection, as well as some of the most popular/best sellers from previous seasons. During a trunk show, a bride has a larger selection of gowns to choose from. Also, most bridal boutiques only carry a few gowns from each collection. For brides who has a specific gown in mind from the designer, this is her time to come shop. It is guaranteed to be there.
2. Incentives. Most bridal boutiques will offer an incentive to buy at a trunk show, and we are no exception. We offer a minimum of 10% off the purchase price right off the bat, with additional discounts on purchases of veils, headpieces or accessories. Also, designers will often offer their own incentive, such as a free customization option of your choice. Depending on the featured designer and gown price, a bride can save anywhere from $500-$1500 when shopping during a trunk show.
3. Often, a Designer Representative or the Designer him or herself will be at the trunk show. This person is extremely knowledgeable with regards to each dress in the collection. So, in essence, you get two Bridal Consultants who can help you find your dream dress! It’s such a special moment when a bride can meet the designer of the gown!
Happy Trunk Show Shopping!
