You may remember Parilee and Michael’s beautiful Distillery rehearsal dinner that was posted last week. Now we are sharing the couple’s stunning mountainside wedding that will inspire those couples looking for a rustic wedding with an air of sophistication. Hosted by the luxurious St. Regis Deer Valley Resort and captured superbly by Pepper Nix Photography, this wedding is full of details that will leave you in a state of wonderment!

Couple Parilee and Michael love nature. They spend their time outdoors, hiking, skiing and biking. They wanted their wedding to feel elegant but also to capture the feeling of being outside and part of the landscape.

Bluebird Event Destination Management designed this event full of lush green and white details with natural wood elements. Floral by Decoration Inc. were used in abundance throughout the event in an elegant, subtle way to keep in the refinement of the day. We love the wood touches at this wedding. The wooden chairs and aisle at the ceremony kept a natural appearance for their outdoor nuptials. The suspended tree branches with hanging candle lit globes must have given the guests a feeling of enchantment when dining and dancing. The glass tent allowing in the starlight and the view of the mountain range in the distance during the reception is spectacular. Our favourite decor element? The wooden plank dance floor!

You will notice the repeated use of a Chinese seal, Yong Jie Tong Xin. It’s meaning of “two hearts, entwined forever” is also the seal that the groom’s parents used at their wedding. The bride’s something blue and something borrowed came from a sapphire necklace and bracelet that belongs to her mother. The bride’s grandfather also officiated the wedding, how sweet! Family involvement always contributes to the success of a wedding, so there is no surprise when we read stories where couple’s pay homage and include their relatives on their wedding day. The outcome is always a fabulous event!

No detail was overlooked at this beautiful wedding and we thank Pepper Nix Photography for sharing it with us!

Congratulations Parilee & Michael!
