If you are a fan of barn weddings, then we have the perfect wedding to share with you today! Belcroft Estates in Innisfil is a tree farm with a full-service event space that the couple described as “an incredibly unique, beautiful and picturesque backdrop for our day.” Thank you to Avenue Photo for submitting this wedding that was so perfectly captured!
Meaghan and Blair are high school sweethearts that grew up in the same small town. Their parents still do to this day, and live only minutes apart! Even after 4 years of university that kept the couple seven hours apart, we can’t help but believe that this couple were destined to get married! After a move across the province, the two were engaged and started planning the rustic wedding of their dreams.
The theme was coined “shabby-chic” and the bride had a vision for the day. With the hard work from her husband who built her everything she asked for (including the 5×7′ birch tree arch!) and the direction and assistance of wedding coordinator Confetti and Bash, Meaghan was relaxed and was able to enjoy her big day.
Room to Bloom provided beautiful, all white arrangements throughout the event and incorporated the bride’s grandmother’s blue handkerchief to her bridal bouquet. A highlight for the couple was arriving at the ceremony in the bride’s father prized possession, his fire engine red 1973 Corvette Stingray!
Guests had fun with a photo booth, candy bar, a cigar bar and a late night snacks. Guest favours were tree saplings so wedding-goers could bring home a memory of the wedding that will continue to grow and remind them of the couple for years to come!
Our favourite photo is the one of the couple having their first dance in the courtyard with all of the guests overlooking on the balconies! We are sure it felt as romantic as it looks!
Congratulations Meaghan & Blair!
