Today we celebrate love with a nature inspired real wedding at the historical Goldie Mill Ruin and the private golf club Devil’s Paintbrush. Boakview Photography based in Toronto, captured the surreal collection of photos of this memorable day.

Samatha and Tyler are high school sweethearts who spend as much time as possible exploring the outdoors. They planned an intimate wedding of simplistic elegance for 60 of their closest friends and family.  The Goldie Mill Ruin in Guelph is the remanents of a limestone building dating to 186 What remains is a unique structure which is also the most enchanting location for a ceremony. Are you looking for a fun ceremony exit? We love the sweet paper airplanes that guests tossed as the newly married couple walked back down the aisle together!

We cannot get over the beauty of the bouquet’s and boutonnieres from Coriander Girl. The bouquet gives a feeling of ethereal, full of colour, the combination of the hued blooms are awe inducing, absolute perfection. The unique boutonniere of feathers are as striking as they are meaningful. This particular colour combination symbolises change, fitting for the day when a couple exchange vows.

The reception was held in Caledon at the Devil’s Paintbrush Golf Club. Guests dined on comfort food with a Southern flare, mac & cheese, barbeque, cornbread at the Mad Hatter theme restaurant.  Local wildflowers were handpicked at the bride’s aunts personal gardens and arranged in milk glass containers that the couple collected for this affair.  We love the fanciful and playful arrangements used for the centrepieces, colourful and romantic! Keeping on theme, a lovely fresh floral topped buttercream cake and a selection of pies from The Apple Factory, delighted guests with a sweet treat.

Favours of evergreen seedlings from  Pineneedle Farms were gifted to guests for them to watch them grow. When the photographers asked the couple what their favourite part of the day was, without hesitation, they both smiled and answered, “The part when we got to marry our best friend!”

Congratulations Samantha and Tyler!
