When Jennifer of Jennifer See Studios close friends wanted to throw a surprise wedding for their friends and family with less than 3 weeks of planning until the big day, she jumped on board to help! Together they pulled off a beautiful event, all while she captured the photos AND was in the wedding party!
Samantha and Jon were moving from Toronto to British Columbia and wanted to surprise their guests with nuptials in a stress-free, awesome way. They arranged their bridal party to help take on DIY details and secured venue, The Boiler House for a Sunday morning.
Wedding guests believed they were attending a surprise send-off party for the couple but when the bride and groom arrived … SURPRISE! 80 of the couple’s loved ones were shocked but amazed and delighted as the bridal party entered with a macrame altar, wedding cake and the couple in their gown and bow tie!
A close friend officiated the ceremony, their adorable 5-year-old walked the bride down the aisle and the couple played rock-paper-scissors to decide who read their vows first! Rings were exchanged, vegan brunch and mimosas were served and the wedding goers had the opportunity to give well wishes not only to the couple’s new adventure in a new province but their new adventure as husband and wife!
Congratulations Samantha and Jon!
