This gorgeous Berkley Church wedding was sent to us by Fidan Ismayilova of Designed Dream Wedding. Full of dreamy romantic lighting and stunning nature inspired details all captured flawlessly by MK Photographics.
Couple Megan and Stuart planned their March wedding without a detail overlooked! We love every detail including the colour scheme of blush, white, soft grey and silver. The touches of navy which were used throughout the event added to the classic and gorgeous feel of the event.
Megan who enjoys crafting wanted to add personal touches. Stuart’s family cottage in Muskoka is one of the couple’s favourite places to spend their time. The ceremony wooden stumps were taken from the island, lined the aisle and were surrounded with floral and candles. Birch bark was also collected from the property and were used to create natural table numbers. A perfect way to bring the rustic, beauty of cottage-country and bring it into the city.
Handmade place cards were made and inside the couple wrote an individual unique note to every single guest thanking them for coming to their wedding! This created a reaction that became one of the couple’s most memorable moments of their day. Guests were so touched by the personal gesture, the couple were overwhelmed with all of the compliments and love received. What a great way to make your guests feel extra special!
Another fun and personal touch included an introductory video recreating the opening credits sequence of Beverley Hills 90210 – the bridal party had a blast creating together!
The couple are also big pie (and Pi) fans! Instead of a traditional cake, different flavours of pie were offered and Megan and Stu’s wedding date being 3.14.15, the first five digits of Pi!
