Danielle and Kurt’s wedding day started off on a rainy note. Danielle woke up at 4:30 am in tears worrying about her outdoor ceremony and if the weather would cooperate. The bride quickly realized it was out of her hands and decided to enjoy the excitement and laughter with her family and best friends while getting ready. Luckily, the rain subsided long enough for the couple to exchange vows under the stunning gazebo and manicured grounds of Deer Creek.
Danielle was a picture perfect bride in her full lace, fit and flare Claudine, Alyce Paris gown, and stone encrusted shoes. The bridesmaids were a vision in Grecian gowns, done in a black tie fashion. Kurt and his groomsmen were polished and sophisticated in classic tuxedos, that never go out of style!
The black and white affair consisted with all white bouquets and towering centerpieces from Lynn The Flower Lady and fluffy white buttercream topped cupcakes from Delectable Designs for the guests to indulge! Suspended crystal strands hung from the ceiling giving a touch of luxury and romantic dancing lights for guests to dance under!
My favourite part? The Macedonian Bread Dance! This is a tradition where guests dance with a large round loaf of sweet bread called koluk. After the dance, the bride and groom pull apart the bread and the person with the largest piece are considered “Head of the Household”! As we can see Danielle got the larger piece!
The bride describes her day as a fairy-tale, full of shared laughs and tears. Even with the rain, there was not one thing they would have changed. We wish all couples this happiness on their wedding day!
Congratulations Danielle & Kurt!
