Molly and Neil wanted a wedding that was relaxed, elegant and a memorable night for all of their guests.
After touring the grounds of Hockley Valley Resort, they fell in love with this wedding venue!
The accommodations at the resort allowed their guests to spend the night after the celebration. This gave the feeling of a destination wedding, just 45 minutes outside of the city of Toronto!
Bride, Molly wanted to make sure personal touches were built into their décor. Molly’s mum gave her a shoe charm which was on her grandparent’s wedding cake, and her florist built the special detail into her bridal bouquet!
Lining the ceremony aisle on the chairs hung framed baby pictures of bride and groom. These are the personal touches we love!
Mum handed Molly a lucky horseshoe (straight from Belfast!) after they said their vows, a true Northern Irish tradition!
Lastly, on the cake table they displayed framed wedding pictures of their parents and both sets of grandparents.
Beautiful weather graced the day, and after the intimate ceremony, guests enjoyed a relaxed cocktail reception on the private patio of the resort.
After the emotional first dance, the sun went down, and the guests were able to enjoy the warm evening along side the bonfires.
We think you will agree that this stunning wedding was captured beautifully by super talented Caitlin, of Caitlin Free Photography, and is a true inspiration for the bride who is looking for a wedding tucked away in the beautiful and natural landscape of our gorgeous Ontario!
