Simply Frosted Cupcakery

Standing Centre stage are a sweet duo who pride themselves on creating desserts that speaks about their love for supporting their community, and working with the couples looking for confections that match all things wonderful about them, and their wedding day.

Owners (and sisters!) Vanessa and Enza decided to turn Simply Frosted Cupcakery into a business when Vanessa realized the amount of orders would take more commitment than a hobby.

“I started with after work programs in baking, then I started taking orders and expanded. Then Enza started helping me at home. When the orders started getting bigger, at that point we thought it best to open a storefront,” she said.

The Simply Frosted wedding cake and other desserts (French macarons, cookies and cake pops to mention a few of their delights!) come to life from couples’s imaginations, which range from ornate towers that command attention to the loveliest cake for a wedding centered around closest friends and family. Perfect for the modern couple who are planning either an elegant, modern, stylish or rustic nuptuial.

For Vanessa and Enza, the sweetest (pun intended!) part about Simply Frosted, are the couples who choose them for occasions that mark the phases in their lives after the wedding day. Vanessa sums it up nicely:

“Having them (couples) select us is a pretty amazing honour!”

Passion and artistry!
