Shangri-la Hotel

Asian Luxury 5 diamond Shangri-la Hotel in Toronto stands notably as one of the tallest and most luxurious hotel and event spaces the city has to offer.

From the moment you enter the lobby lounge you immediately feel a sense of serenity after escaping the bustle of the city. Every corner of the space has been designed with incomparable and meaningful detail.

The urban living-room style lobby greets you with a a sense of tranquility. Boasting an impressive double sided fireplace, boarded on one side by travertine columns, exhibiting four large-scale paintings by Shanghainese artist Wang Xu Yuan. Using modern calligraphy as a medium, Wang depicts the four most beautiful performers from the Peking Opera.

The third floor, designed for meetings, weddings and social events is one of the city’s most unique hosting opportunities. Iron red marble from Madagascar contrasts the white oak millwork flawlessly. Leather chairs and fabric upholstered sofas sit under specially designed contemporary crystal chandeliers that resemble Asian bird cages.

Overhead 41 pavé crystal chandeliers glisten in the largest space, Queen’s Park, with over 3,670 square feet of open space. The centre pivot-doors open to a glass wall, then to a spectacular open garden terrace, landscaped with sculpted pines overlooking a breathtaking view of University Avenue.

The Museum room is one of the most distinctive spaces in the hotel overlooking University Avenue at Adelaide. Set dramatically with 13 crystal chandeliers hanging at various heights, this space recently hosted a luxurious wedding influencers evening. See here how the space was transformed to host one of the city’s most elegant and extraordinary evenings.
